‘INDUSTRIAMOCI’: YOUNG PEOPLE ORIENTATION IN WALVOIL

For more than 13 years Walvoil has been supporting the "Industriamoci" project, in collaboration with Confindustria.
This is an orientation activity aimed at secondary schools in the area for the guide to the choice of second grade schools.
On 13 January we had the pleasure to welcome and host a third class of the Boiardo Institute in Scandiano, Reggio Emilia Province, Italy.

The students had the opportunity to visit the production departments and discuss with various technicians and managers who explained how fundamental the knowledge acquired in the study paths are today as the beginning of the development of skills that mature later in the company.

The students were impressed by the highly technological footprint of the company and perceived its value not only in economic terms, but in the commitment and ability of those who govern these systems. The use of robots aroused a lot of interest, and the group showed a pro-active listening by asking many questions to our technicians about how the robots work.

The opportunity to listen to each other has proven to be an excellent way for growth and exchange between different generations.
The young people who come to Walvoil usually show an increasing interest in deepening practical experiences that make them feel the reality, and this is a further testimony of the role of promotion and education of growth and dissemination of culture for the new generations, which companies cover.

So all ahead, and good luck to our young people who will be the workers of the future!
