Industriamoci PMI-DAY 2020!  is a national event promoted by Confindustria for the dissemination of business culture among the new generations.

The initiative, in its eleventh edition this year, was designed to help middle-school students in the difficult task of choosing the most suitable high school for their future professional career.

Walvoil has always made itself available, since the very first edition, with the awareness of the importance of a committed community for the development and the growth of its own territory.

On November 20, 2020, we opened the doors to the young people of 2 third-year classes of the ‘Enrico Fermi’ Middle School in Reggio Emilia to show them our activities and skills and above all to share the values of our productive world.

In this difficult period of sanitary emergency, it is very important to try and go on with such experiences, even if in a different way: with a web connection we were able to share information and interact with the students effectively.

The students, who were very attentive and curious, had the opportunity to listen to the inputs of company managers explaining them their experiences, the company organization and the professional roles.

These opportunities represent the first contact of the students with the job’s world; hopefully they will help them to imagine their future in an industrial company like ours!
