The subject of vocational training and technical education has always been close to Walvoil, especially when the latter is used to promote innovative educational courses that are focused on the needs of the companies.

It is with this spirit that on 13 March Walvoil had the pleasure of welcoming in its plant of Castel San Pietro Terme, Bologna province, twenty students from ITS MAKER FORLI’, who are attending the biennial postgraduate technical specialization course "Superior Technician for the industrialization of processes and products’’.

After a brief historical overview of the company and the peculiarities of the Business Unit of Bologna, the students had the opportunity to visit the production departments and discuss with the Walvoil Managers and Technicians. An opportunity to explained to them how fundamental today are the knowledges acquired in the study paths as the beginning of the development of skills, which are subsequently matured in the company.

All the students were impressed by the high technological level of the company, and the use of robots and automation systems really involved everyone.

Aware of the importance of listening to direct testimonies of those who have already entered the working environment, we had the pleasure of presenting the path experienced by two former students of the Forlì branch of ITS Maker, who, starting from the curricular internship, were subsequently hired in technical operations role of the company.

We wish a similar journey to all the students present at the visit in Walvoil and thank them for this precious exchange that, once again, has shown us how these moments can be an excellent opportunity for sharing and growth among different generations.
