It was a special 1 May for Gabriele Gualandi, who until recently was Head of Mechanical Processing at Walvoil’s plant in Castel San Pietro Terme (Bologna, Italy).

At Palazzo Re Enzo in Bologna, Enrico Ricci, Prefect of Bologna, awarded him the ‘Star of merit’, the honour conferred by the President of the Republic on workers who have distinguished themselves through moral integrity, competence, a spirit of innovation and dedication in the performance of their duties, often also as mentors to younger colleagues.

To Gabriele, who has dedicated 43 years of his life first to Hydrocontrol and then to Walvoil, we offer our congratulations and our sincere thanks for the commitment and passion he has shared with us every day.
