Saturday 10 June was a wonderful day for Walvoil.
The initiatives to celebrate the company's 50th anniversary opened with an event dedicated to all employees and their families.
A collective moment of sharing and joy to celebrate the achievement of this milestone in our history, and the importance of people in our organization.

The Open Day was held in the Corte Tegge hub (Cavriago - Reggio Emilia), already visited in April by our President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the afternoon light and nightfall made particularly evocative.

It was also a special occasion to inaugurate the construction of the expanding production plant and the site of the future Innovation Center, as well as the headquarters of the Walvoil Group's Research & Development department.
''We chose to open Walvoil's 50th anniversary with this event, first of all to recognize the strategic role of the 2500 people who work at Walvoil, in Italy and around the world, and to thank them,'' Chairman and CEO Fabio Marasi said at many times.

An event, ''e-motion by people'', which was marked at various times by different emotions: the wonder and curiosity shown during the guided tours visiting the production plant; the pride of those who led them; the passion and reflection conveyed by our President's speech; the sweetness of memories, conferred by the words of Ivano Corghi and the images of the historical exposition set up in the Innovation Center; the joy of the children, who would never have wanted to leave 'Walvoiland', a large area dedicated to them.

Finally, the good atmosphere, all together, that accompanied us until late in the evening, also thanks to the good weather conditions.
There were more than 2000 of us, who were there to enjoy ourselves, get to know each other and share the emotions of an intense day.
''In Walvoil there are many people who, when asked 'What do you do for living?' would answer 'I build Cathedrals', as the President quoted during the official moment.

Passion, undoubtedly, the thread that links all of us.
