History and the brand evolution

1953 – THE ORIGINS AS IOTTI&STROZZI

Founded in 1953 in Reggio Emilia, Italy, as Iotti & Strozzi, the company started operating in the emerging field of fluid energy control.
 Gear pumps, motors, valves and cylinders quickly substituted old and unwieldy mechanical transmissions.
 

1992 - GALTECH WAS BORN

The company changed its name to Galtech S.p.A. and merged into Gallinari financial and industrial Group.
 

2004 – THE CANADIAN PROJECT KICKS OFF

The birth of Galtech Canada confirms the project to enter the North American market.
 

2009 – CORPORATE EVOLUTION

The company changed its name in Galtech S.r.l.
 

2011 – THE ENTRANCE IN INTERPUMP GROUP

Interpump Group acquires 53% of Galtech Srl.
 

2013 – HYDROCONTROL BUSINESS UNIT

Merged into Hydrcontrol, it becomes its valuable Business Unit.
 

2016 – THE BRAND ENHANCEMENT

Part of Walvoil Spa since 2016, this brand mainly identifies the production of pumps, motors and flow dividers
