As part of the Industriamoci 2023 project, and in collaboration with Unindustria, on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023, Walvoil welcomed 52 students to its expanded headquarters in Corte Tegge, in Cavriago (RE).

These are students from middle schools A. Balletti from Quattro Castella and S. Pertini from Reggio Emilia.

The Industriamoci project, born 14 years ago, aims to orient middle school students to choose a second grade school.

After a brief company presentation, the students had the opportunity to visit the production departments and meet with our technicians and managers, who explained the importance of the knowledge acquired in their study paths.

The youngsters were surprised by the high level of technology present in Walvoil. In Italy alone, there are more than 100 fully automated work centers, which alleviate human labor and require increasingly specialized employees.

The visit ended with a contest, which tested the youngsters on the notions learned during the morning by stimulating team working and collaborative spirit.

A fundamental element of these experiences enriching us all is the exchange and testimonials, which represent a moment of growth between different generations.
