"Agriculture looks to the future with ISOBUS"

The technical workshop on ISOBUS technology promoted on last December 13th by the IDEAgri Network, consisting of Walvoil, Argo Tractors, Cobo, Salvarani and REI Foundation, in collaboration with AEF, CNHi, Arag, Frandent and Federunacoma, was successfully concluded with the contribution of Alessio Bolognesi, coordinator of the meeting.

The event, which took place last December 13th, aroused great interest and attracted participants from outside the Emilia Romagna Region.

The initiative, opened by Alberto Rocchi, president of the Mechatronics Club of Unindustria Reggio Emilia and Head of Walvoil Electronics Division, provided meeting sessions alternated with external live demonstrations.

ISOBUS is a communication standard revolutionizing the agricultural world by allowing a direct connection between tractor and implement regardless of the brand of origin. It allows you to monitor activities and manage all the tools from a single video terminal, located in the tractor cabin. This supports the farmer in performing open field operations, but also in the vineyard and orchard on specialized vehicles.

One of the five ISOBUS certification laboratories in the world is located in Reggio Emilia, at the REI Foundation.
